The Impact Of Digital Transformation On The Performance Of Real Estate Enterprises

As one of the most important industries in China’s economic,the development of the real estate industry has attracted much attention.Since the reform and opening up,after decades of development,real estate enterprises have become an indispensable part of China’s economy,but also driven the development of many other industries.It is particularly important to pay attention to the development trend of real estate enterprises.In this years,with the vigorous development of digital economy,digital technology is also reflected in all aspects of life.It is noteworthy that more and more real estate enterprises begin to take digital transformation as an important direction of their future development.They connect digital technologies such as big data and blockchain with their marketing,operation,management and decision-making,hoping to form innovative output and promote the transformation and development of enterprises through advanced digital technology.This thesis hopes to select the case of country garden group,which has outstanding performance in digital transformation,and use the event analysis method and financial analysis method to make a specific analysis,and finally come to the conclusion that digital transformation has a positive impact on enterprise performance.Firstly,this thesis reviews the relevant research results on the impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance at home and abroad,and analyzes the impact mechanism of digital transformation on enterprise performance based on it capability theory and technological innovation theory.Then it introduces several representative events explored by Country Garden Group in digital transformation,and makes a specific analysis by using event analysis method and financial analysis method.Through the research,it is found that:(1)since the digital transformation of country garden layout,the continuous R & D investment has enabled the enterprise to have rich digital resources and core technologies.These resources and technologies have brought a lot of innovative outputs to enterprises,which can significantly improve the core competitiveness of enterprises,thus affecting enterprise performance.(2)In terms of market performance,the stock market holds a relatively positive and optimistic attitude towards country garden’s digital transformation,which is reflected in the high abnormal rate of return of stocks,which shows that country garden’s digital transformation can bring certain market returns to enterprises,but there is also a time lag effect.(3)By analyzing the financial data of country garden,it is found that the digital transformation cost investment of country garden does not have a significant negative impact on the profitability of the enterprise.On the contrary,the profitability of the enterprise remains relatively stable,and the indicators of the company’s solvency and growth ability are also steadily improving.Finally,the article believes that the digital transformation of country garden has a positive impact on the performance of enterprises,which also provides successful experience for real estate enterprises.However,the digital transformation of enterprises is a long-term and lasting process,and the lag effect also exists objectively.Finally,the thesis puts forward some suggestions combined with the background of the times,and summarizes the shortcomings of the research and the prospect of future research.
