| With the process of science and technology,mobile Internet and other new digital technologies are emerging.In this context,the rapid development of digital economy has a subversive impact on enterprises.Digital transformation is a strategic choice for enterprises to integrate new digital technologies into their own operation and management mode,so as to seek their own competitive advantages.Innovation is an extremely important force for enterprises to improve their competitiveness,and it is also an inexhaustible driving force for high-quality economic development.So,does digital transformation play a role in enterprise innovation and development? What is the exact path of action? Solve this problem will help companies adjust themselves to suit for the digital development of enterprises.Based on the above analysis,this paper focuses on the role of digital transformation on enterprise innovation,and further explores its possible role path.Firstly,this paper reviews and sorts out the relevant literature,it mainly includes relevant literatures on the economic consequences of digital transformation and influencing factors of enterprise innovation at home and abroad.Secondly,this paper selects China’s A-share listed enterprises from 2011 to 2021 as the research object.Based on relevant theories :such as information asymmetry theory,innovation theory and signal transmission theory,this paper tests the impact of digital transformation on enterprise innovation,and analyzes the path mechanism between them.In addition,the classification variable of fintech development level is introduced to analyze whether external technology development status will adjust the impact of digital transformation on enterprise innovation.The study shows:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between digital transformation and enterprise innovation input.(2)Digital transformation can enhance enterprise information transparency and improve enterprise risk bearing capacity,so as to have a positive impact on enterprise innovation input.(3)Taking the development level of fintech as the categorical variable,the samples are grouped to verify the moderating effect of the development level of fintech between them.The results show that digital transformation has a stronger positive effect on innovation input of enterprises in regions with higher degree of fintech development compared with enterprises in regions with lower degree of fintech development.The following Revelations and suggestions are obtained:(1)Under the background of vigorous development of digital transformation,in order to maintain the advantage,enterprises should actively integrate into the trend and promote digital transformation.(2)Enterprises should gradually improve the announcement system of information and enhance their information transparency.At the same time,in the process of digitization,resources and information effect of digital transformation should be given full play to enhance enterprises’ risk bearing capacity,thus helping enterprises to invest in innovation.(3)The government should optimize the financial environment,formulate and improve the guiding policies for the development of fintech,and perfect the regulatory system of fintech. |
