Along with the rapid changes in the market environment and the advancement of enterprise management thinking,the managers become aware of the crucial role that talents play in the development of enterprises gradually.Among the numerous talents,knowledge-based employees are the most essential.It is precisely because of the high knowledge attributes and strong self-awareness of knowledge workers that enterprises need to spend more energy to stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of knowledge-based employees,so as to establish the core competitiveness of enterprises.Taking D company as the research object,this paper finds out its current methods adopted by D company to motivate knowledge-based employees.This survey is carried out under the guidance of Maslow’s needs theory,two-factor theory,and self-efficacy theory,by conducts field visits and questionnaire methods.Combining theory with practice,this paper points out some current loopholes and problems in the company,namely,lack of competitive fairness in compensation,lack of planning and reflection on training,poor performance indicator formulation,lack of specific standards for career development paths,and misalignment of corporate culture and employee needs,poor work experience of knowledge-based employees,etc.In view of the existing problems of D Company,this paper utilizes the knowledge of employee incentive and combines the characteristics of knowledge-based employees to improve incentive measures from the six aspects as follows: compensation & welfare,performance appraisal,career development,training,corporation culture,and employee experience.
