With the in-depth development of the new round of scientific and technological revolution,the economic environment has become complex.Enterprises increasingly rely on external knowledge sources to support their technology and innovation development.They begin to cooperate with other enterprises,universities and scientific research institutions,establish an industry-university-research cooperation network centered on enterprises and jointly bear risks,and the innovation cooperation based on industry-university-research network has developed in depth.Under the guidance of China’s policy of marching into the forefront of innovative countries,the innovation process of industry-university-research in various regions has been gradually accelerated.As an underdeveloped region in the west,Guizhou Province has a weak innovation foundation and innovation sustainability.It is more urgent to improve the efficiency of industry-university-research innovation network and narrow the gap with developed regions.In 2020,the growth rate of digital economy in Guizhou Province exceeded 15%,ranking first in China for six consecutive years.Scientific and technological innovation has made breakthrough progress under the guidance of digital economy and the support of innovation policies,which also provides new opportunities for the innovative development of industry-university-research in underdeveloped areas represented by Guizhou Province.We should pay attention to the network effect of industry-university-research innovation and rely on the digital economy,take the path of differentiated innovation and promote innovation and economic development.In this context,Taking Guizhou Province as an example,this paper first analyzes the current situation of its industry-university-research innovation development and cooperation,then studies the temporal and spatial evolution law of industry-university-research innovation network in Guizhou Province,and finally explores the internal operation mode and development path of industry university research innovation network evolution through simulation research.The following findings were obtained:(1)The economic development of Guizhou Province,especially the digital economy,is developing rapidly,the policy environment is gradually improving,and the strength of innovation subjects such as enterprises is gradually increasing.However,there are still problems such as weak foundation and weak foundation.The total number of cooperative patents published in Guizhou Province has developed rapidly since 2006,among which enterprises are the most active innovation subjects,and there are more similar types of cooperation among enterprises.(2)The industryuniversity-research innovation network of Guizhou Province has experienced three stages of development from 1986 to 2005,2006 to 2015 and 2016 to 2020.It has formed a main innovation network centered on Guizhou University and an urban innovation network centered on Guiyang City,both of which have a core edge structure,the spatial pattern of innovation cooperation inside and outside the province presents hierarchical characteristics.On the whole,its temporal and spatial evolution is still in the growth stage of the development of regional innovation system,the enterprise subject has not occupied the network center,and the characteristics of knowledge and technology proximity of innovation cooperation are obvious.(3)Guizhou industry-university-research innovation network has scale-free characteristics,but the characteristics of small world are not obvious;Its evolution mechanism is motivated by the enterprise’ s acquisition of external knowledge,considering the two factors of technological proximity and node degree to select partners,so that the network continues to evolve with the preferential growth mechanism;In the optimization mechanism,the greater the role of node degree factor,the more unbalanced the distribution of network node technological innovation level,the greater the role of technology proximity factor,the more balanced the distribution of network node technological innovation level,but the longer the average cooperation path.Through the research on the evolution and mechanism of industry-university-research innovation network in underdeveloped areas with Guizhou Province as a sample,this paper deepens the research on the dynamics,complexity and internal mechanism of industryuniversity-research innovation network,and enriches the research on industry-universityresearch innovation network and regional innovation network.At the same time,it deepens the understanding of enterprise innovation development and regional innovation development in underdeveloped areas,broadens the research vision,and provides new perspectives and suggestions for enterprises and other innovation subjects to improve innovation ability and regional innovation network performance,which has strong theoretical and practical significance.
