As the basis of economic development,the manufacturing industry acts as the entity of the country’s prosperity and is fundamental to the country’s strength.Compared to developed countries,the development of China’s manufacturing industry there is a lack of core technology,competitiveness is weak and other issues.In this environment,the new generation of science and technology is developing rapidly,how to seize the opportunities of science and technology and the digital economy,and effectively promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is a challenge that must be faced.The thesis takes the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry as the research object,focusing on the measurement of transformation and upgrading the capability of the manufacturing industry and the analysis of influencing factors to carry out research,the main work of this paper includes:Firstly,we grasp the status and trend of manufacturing transformation and upgrading based on previous research and elaborate on the relevant concepts and theories about manufacturing transformation and upgrading.From the four aspects of production value-added capability,innovation and learning capability,information technology radiation capability,and sustainable development capability,20 analysis indicators are designed to construct a comprehensive evaluation system to measure the transformation and upgrading level of the manufacturing industry.The modified entropy weight method is used to organize and measure the data related to the manufacturing industry collected from 29 provinces and regions,and the comprehensive index of transformation and upgrading capability of the manufacturing industry is derived.After analysis,it is concluded that the overall development of transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry has been improved,but there are still large geographical differences,with the strongest transformation and upgrading capacity of the manufacturing industry in the eastern region,followed by the central region and the weakest in the western region.Then,the TOPSIS method was used to explore the regional ranking of the manufacturing industry each year,and the few provinces that consistently ranked high were the coastal regions of Guangdong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,and Shanghai.Gray correlation analysis is used to analyze the influencing factors of the transformation and upgrading ability of the manufacturing industry and the impact of common influencing factors on manufacturing industry segments.It mainly examines the extent to which factors such as regional consumer demand,the importance of R&D,and the development of regional science and technology are related to the composite index.The results show that regional consumption demand,the importance of R&D,the level of urbanization,and human capital have a greater impact on the composite index of manufacturing transformation and upgrading,and the integration of cultural industries has a relatively small impact on the composite index.Finally,relevant policies and suggestions are given from six aspects.(1)To formulate a reasonable and comprehensive policy that takes into account integrated and coordinated development and reduces geographical differences.(2)Focus on value-added production capacity in manufacturing.(3)Focus on improving their innovative learning capabilities,using high-tech industries,and producing high-tech high technology products.(4)The manufacturing industry should be focused and guided to develop in a healthy and green direction.(5)Accelerate the integration and development of manufacturing and information technology networking,promote the intelligent development of manufacturing through the use of information technology,and achieve transformation and upgrading.(6)Each region drives the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry through rapid economic development and stimulation of residential consumption. |
