Research On The Evaluation And Promotion Of The Competitiveness Of Guangxi Fruit Industry

Guangxi is one of the top five fruit producing areas of 10 million tons in the country.The fruit industry is a pillar industry in Guangxi.It enhances the competitiveness of fruit industry in Guangxi,drives farmers to increase their incomes and becomes rich,and plays an important role in serving the local economy and rural revitalization.The construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative have brought opportunities for the development of the fruit industry in Guangxi,but also brought unprecedented challenges to the development of the fruit industry.How to improve the competitiveness of Guangxi fruit industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period is worth exploring.This paper studies the evaluation system and influencing factors of fruit industry competitiveness improvement,in order to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi’s fruit industry.Based on the development status of the fruit industry at home and abroad,this paper combines the theory of industrial economics,the theory of comparative advantage,the theory of competitive advantage and other related theories.In-depth analysis of the competitiveness of Guangxi’s fruit industry in terms of production factors,demand conditions,related and supporting industries,production and operation entities,government factors and opportunities.Based on the relevant statistical data of the fruit industry in Guangxi from 2004 to 2020 and the provinces and regions in the country in 2020,an evaluation index system was established,and a quantitative evaluation model was constructed by using factor analysis.It is concluded that the competitiveness of Guangxi’s fruit industry shows a development trend of increasing year by year from 2004 to 2020,and it ranks sixth in the comparison of the competitiveness of fruit industries in 31 provinces in the country in 2020,showing strong competitiveness.From the analysis of factor scores,Guangxi’s fruit industry has a certain competitive advantage over other provinces in terms of natural conditions of production factors and market share,but its competitiveness in terms of technology,demand conditions and related supporting industries is relatively low.Combined with the current situation and development trend of Guangxi fruit industry,the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of Guangxi fruit industry are put forward from the following five aspects.In terms of production factors:(1)Take advantage of resources to speed up the adjustment of fruit industry structure;(2)Strengthen scientific and technological support to improve fruit industry benefits;(3)Improve the construction of orchard facilities.From the perspective of demand:(1)Strengthen brand cultivation and expand the fruit industry market;(2)Optimize distribution services and promote smooth sales channels.Relevant industries include improving the standard system of the entire industry chain,establishing and improving the testing system and improving the traceability system.In terms of enterprises,it includes the in-depth implementation of the growth plan of leading agricultural enterprises and the continuous promotion of the large-scale agricultural investment promotion.Government:(1)Strengthen organizational leadership;(2)Increase financial investment;(3)Improve financial services.
