As an important part of China’s financial sector,the development of commercial Banks has been on the rise in recent years.However,the competition in the financial market in today’s society is changing rapidly,so commercial Banks must proceed from internal development to enhance their overall competitiveness.The perfection and optimization of performance appraisal system is the only way for commercial Banks to step on the road of rapid development,which can not only improve the overall performance management efficiency of Banks,but also help the communication between Bank managers and employees.Taking XT Bank as an example,this paper understands the problems that need to be solved urgently in the current performance appraisal system of XT Bank through various research methods,and puts forward KPI performance appraisal methods,which can help XT Bank optimize its performance appraisal system from a scientific point of view and provide help for improving its overall competitiveness.Combined with the status quo of XT Bank management,it is found that there is an unreasonable content design of the assessment indicators in performance assessment,and there is a lack of effective communication and performance counseling between Bank managers and employees.Performance results have not been effectively applied and feedback.Based on the problems,this paper starts from performance appraisal optimization goals,establish and improve performance appraisal index system,identify four dimensions of KPI indicators: finance,customer,internal operation,learning and growth,and develop KPI index weights.
