Study On The Impact Of Elements Flows On The Quality Of Regional Economic Growth

The report of the 19 th Party Congress set the general tone of high-quality development in the new era,and the promotion of high-quality economic development has become one of the main tasks faced at present.In the process of high-quality economic development,the improvement of economic growth quality is a part of the process that cannot be ignored.As the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)city cluster is one of the most active regions in China in terms of factor flow and economic growth quality,clarifying the internal logic between factor flow and economic growth quality improvement has become a priority task,which is of great significance to further improve the economic growth quality of YRD city cluster.Therefore,this paper firstly reviews the relevant literature and theoretical foundations on factor mobility and economic growth quality,and sorts out the mechanism of factor mobility on economic growth quality.Secondly,taking into account the actual economic development of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster,we construct an economic growth quality index system from five aspects: economic growth structure,dynamics,stability,results and resource and environmental costs,and analyze the economic growth quality of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta city cluster from2010 to 2019 by using the entropy weight method.After that,the measured economic growth quality of each city is used as the explanatory variable,and the core explanatory variables are labor,capital,and technology factor flows to conduct empirical analysis.Secondly,the impact of different factor flows on the quality of economic growth is different.The effect of labor factor flows on the improvement of economic growth quality is not significant,while the effect of capital factor and technology factor flows on the quality of economic growth is significant,but for the Yangtze River Delta city cluster,the further aggregation of capital factor cannot improve the quality of economic growth,and the effect of technology factor flows on the improvement of economic growth quality is significant.Based on the above research findings,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions:(1)accelerate human capital accumulation and continuously enhance economic growth vitality;(2)improve the function of technology market and promote the development of technology factor market;(3)break down the obstacles to factor flow and promote the free flow of production factors.
