New energy vehicles are a strategic emerging industry in China,which the state attaches great importance to and continues to promote.The development of new energy vehicles is in line with China’s current strategic layout of ecological civilization construction,which can effectively alleviate China’s energy crisis,improve air quality and environment,and reduce carbon dioxide emissions and greenhouse effect.With the rise of new energy vehicle industry,China’s new energy vehicles have also ushered in rapid development.XP company is known as one of the three giants of "new forces of car making".It focuses on R&D and investment in automatic driving technology,implements differentiated competition strategy around intelligence,and has a good performance in the new energy vehicle market.However,in the face of market changes and challenges brought by Tesla,BYD and other auto brands,how to establish core expertise,how to obtain sustainable competitive advantage and win higher market share is an urgent problem for XP company to think about and solve.This research paper studies XP companies based on differentiated competitive strategy and strategic management theory.This paper analyzes the external environment of new energy vehicles,introduces the macro environment and market environment of the new energy vehicle industry,and uses the five forces model to analyze the competition structure of the industry.XP’s specific competitors and available market resources are identified in a competitive and cooperative environment.Through the internal environment analysis of XP company,we understand the company’s development history and status Comparing with competitors in the dimensions of ability,technical ability,marketing ability,profitability and other dimensions,find out the competitive advantages and disadvantages of XP company in the industry.Use SWOT analysis to compare and choose the overall development strategy of the enterprise,and analyze the effectiveness of the differentiated competition strategy currently implemented by XP Company.The optimization measures for the implementation of XP’s differentiated competition strategy will focus on the three principles of continuously strengthening core expertise,improving service quality,and adopting differentiated strategies to adjust the enterprise value chain.In order to ensure the effective implementation of the differentiated strategy of the enterprise,the organizational guarantee should improve the talent structure of the enterprise,ensure the integrity of the company’s strategic leadership composition and firm support for changes,adjust the existing organizational structure,and optimize organizational management;at the same time,in terms of corporate culture construction Enrich the value and content of the enterprise,cultivate the quality,ability and innovative spirit of employees;adopt a variety of incentive measures,improve the performance appraisal system,and stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of employees.
