Can Service-oriented Manufacturing Promote Green Transformation Of Export Enterprises?

With the progress of a new round of industrial revolution,structural changes have taken place in the global production chain,and the global manufacturing industry is developing in the direction of intelligence,high-end,and service.Serving manufacturing has become an important development direction for world economic growth,and my country’s manufacturing industry as a whole is large but not strong,facing many difficulties.The "reindustrialization strategy" of Western countries has also brought a huge impact to the development of my country’s manufacturing industry,The impact of the new crown epidemic has made my country’s manufacturing industry face the "double squeeze" of insufficient upstream investment and sluggish downstream demand.Accelerating the development process of manufacturing service-oriented manufacturing is a key link in breaking the development dilemma of the manufacturing industry and achieving highquality development.At the same time,my country has entered a stage of new normal development.It is gradually changing from an extensive development model that pursues scale and speed to a connotative development model that pursues structural optimization and environmental friendliness.The development of green trade and the realization of green sustainable development are an important measure to protect people’s living condition,which is also the direction of our country’s policy.However,my country has long embedded the global production division with traditional factor endowments,achieving rapid growth in my country’s exports,and at the same time has caused my country to be at the low end of the value chain for a long time,and the scale expansion of processing trade is the dilemma that my country is facing a “pollution refuge”.And blame.In the context of global advocacy of green development,how to achieve high-end manufacturing,green development brooks no delay,and the current and future trend of manufacturing servicing in international trade provides an alternative path for it.The servicization of manufacturing industry proposed in this article refers to the increase in the proportion of the added value of service sources in manufacturing exports,that means,the servicization of manufacturing inputs.Compared with traditional elements,service elements are cleaner,and as high-end elements embedded in the production process of enterprises may promote the improvement of enterprise technology level and the optimization of resource allocation,thereby promoting the green transformation process of export enterprises.Based on the above logic,this thesis,based on the research results of existing scholars,conducts a theoretical analysis of the environmental effects of manufacturing servicing and proposes an impact mechanism;and analyzes the level of manufacturing servicing from the characteristics of enterprises,industries,and regions.An analysis of the characteristics of the emission intensity of export enterprises revealed that the level of servitization of the manufacturing industry at the industry level will conceal a certain degree of enterprise nature,and that the level of servitization of the manufacturing industry and the emission intensity of export enterprises are quite different at the enterprise,region,and industry levels.Then further conduct empirical analysis to explore the heterogeneous effect of the service level of the manufacturing industry on the emission intensity of export enterprises,and verify its influence mechanism;finally,base on the characteristic factor analysis and the empirical results,we can put forward corresponding policy recommendations.Based on the above research,this article draws the corresponding conclusions: Serving manufacturing can significantly reduce the emission intensity of export enterprises,and has obvious heterogeneity;and servicing manufacturing can promote the optimization of the industrial structure of export enterprises by increasing the scale of export enterprises Upgrade process and expand export intensity to realize the green transformation and upgrading of export enterprises.In response to the above conclusions,this article puts forward the following policy recommendations: The Chinese government should base itself on the servicization of domestic manufacturing,actively build a manufacturing servicing system,and adopt a combination of key projects and policy support to help improve and break through the overall level of manufacturing servicing;In the process of development,enterprises need to focus on the accumulation of service elements,at the same time strengthen the absorption of knowledge capital,deepen the allocation of element resources,actively leverage the beneficial results brought by economies of scale and exports,and promote the integration and development of the "informatization and industrialization" of enterprises to form a green and high-quality Enterprise group.
