In recent years,In the process of high-quality economic development,the economic development of various regions is increasingly pursuing coordination and balance.As the vanguard of China’s economic development,the Yangtze River economic belt is a coordinated development belt for inter regional cooperation.Due to natural endowment,geographical factors,policy-making and other factors,there have always been differences in economic growth between regions.For a long time differences in economic growth will have a inactive impact on society,The high-quality economic development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has a negative effect.At the same time,infrastructure construction has a positive effect on the regional economy,reduce production and transaction costs,and promote regional economic development.Socialism with Chinese characteristics entering the new era also has higher requirements for realize common boom and high-quality and balanced economic development.Based on correlation theories of infrastructure construction and regional economic growth differences,Through the research on the impact of infrastructure construction on the economic growth difference of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,it is of great significance to explore how to narrow the economic growth difference of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and promote the coordinated development of the economy.Taking the Yangtze River economic belt and its three urban agglomerations from 2006 to 2019 as the research object,this paper first makes a theoretical analysis on the difference between infrastructure construction and regional economic growth,And from the theoretical basis,it analyzes the mechanism of the infrastructure construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt on the difference of economic growth.Secondly,it measures the development level of infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River economic belt and the differential development status of regional economic growth.Among them,the infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River economic belt is divided into economic and social infrastructure construction,and the entropy weight TOPSIS method is used to analyze the development level of infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River economic belt;Regional economic growth differences analyze the development status of economic growth differences in the Yangtze River economic belt from the perspectives of relative differences and absolute differences.Thirdly,Tobit regression model is established to empirically analyze the economic growth difference of infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River economic belt,and test the robustness.Finally,according to the research conclusion,from the perspective of strengthening infrastructure construction,this paper puts forward policy suggestions to narrow the economic growth difference of the Yangtze River economic belt and promote the development of regional economic integration.The research conclusions show that:(1)the development level of infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River economic belt and its three urban agglomerations is on the rise,and the development level and speed of economic infrastructure construction are higher than that of social infrastructure construction.Among them,the infrastructure construction and development level of the downstream urban agglomeration is the highest,and the infrastructure construction and development level of the upstream is the lowest;(2)The absolute difference between the Yangtze River economic belt and its three major urban agglomerations is increasing,but the growth rate is decreasing,the relative difference is gradually decreasing,and the growth rate is accelerating.The economic growth difference of the downstream urban agglomerations is the largest,and the economic growth difference of the midstream urban agglomerations is the smallest;(3)There is a significant negative correlation between the infrastructure construction of the Yangtze River economic belt and the difference of economic growth,and there is regional heterogeneity in the role of different urban agglomerations.Among them,the infrastructure construction of the midstream urban agglomeration and the downstream urban agglomeration also has a significant inhibitory effect on the difference of economic growth,and the infrastructure construction of the upstream urban agglomeration has an inverted "U-shaped" nonlinear relationship to promote the difference of economic growth.(4)In the construction of economic infrastructure,both the Yangtze River economic belt and the lower reaches of urban agglomeration show obvious inhibitory effect,while the upper reaches of urban agglomeration play a significant role in promoting,while the middle reaches of urban agglomeration have no significant correlation;In the construction of social infrastructure,the Yangtze River economic belt and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches have obvious inhibitory effects,while the urban agglomeration in the upstream and downstream have no significant effects.By improving the development level of infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River economic belt,we can effectively improve the regional investment environment,reduce transaction costs and promote the orderly flow of means of production,so as to reduce the differences in economic growth among different regions and promote the balanced economic development of the Yangtze River economic belt.At the same time,the effects of economic growth differences in different regions on infrastructure construction are heterogeneous.Therefore,it is necessary to formulate relevant policies to reduce regional economic growth differences according to local conditions,continue to increase government investment in regional development,expand the scale of infrastructure construction and development,encourage regional independent innovation,expand the process of urbanization,and promote the development of economic construction and infrastructure construction in a consistent pace,Achieve coordinated and balanced development of high-quality
