Research On The Coordinated Development Of The Yangtze River Economic Belt From The Perspective Of Growth Pole

In 2014,the Yangtze river economic belt was promoted as a national strategy,with the main purpose of promoting the coordinated development of the eastern and western regions of the Yangtze river economic belt.At present,the fundamental reason for the difficulty in coordinating the eastern and western parts of the Yangtze river economic belt is the prominent problem of regional economic and administrative division.To be specific,the eastern,central and western regions of the Yangtze river economic belt are all large regions,with large scale division.They span the interest subjects of different local governments.Although each economic unit has the need for cooperation,it is more of a competitive relationship,and there are different interest demands and conflicts,so it is difficult to coordinate development.At present,it is very difficult to coordinate the development of the eastern and western regions of the Yangtze river economic belt.This paper tries to explore a way to promote the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt by cultivating growth poles so as to achieve the goal of coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.The core of this paper is to try to prove that the cultivation of growth poles is an effective way to achieve the goal of coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.Based on the theory of hierarchical growth poles,this paper divides the growth poles system of the Yangtze river economic belt into national growth poles,regional growth poles and urban growth poles.The details are as follows: the national growth pole refers to the three major city clusters of the Yangtze river,namely the Yangtze river delta city cluster,the middle Yangtze river city cluster and the upper Yangtze river city cluster;Regional growth poles refer to regional city clusters containing provincial capitals or developed cities.For the convenience of research,this paper mainly takes each province of the Yangtze river economic belt as the key analysis object of regional growth poles.Urban growth pole refers to the cities within the Yangtze river economic belt.This paper focuses on the cities along the Yangtze river in the analysis of urban growth pole.This paper tries to establish a logical relationship between the growth poles and the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.Coordinated development is the goal,and the growth pole,as an unbalanced development model,is only one of the paths to achieve the goal of coordinated development.Promote the coordinated development of Yangtze river economic belt through the coordinated development of growth poles.In the growth pole system of the Yangtze river economic belt,the inter-regional economic transmission mechanism of the core growth pole is established,and the radiation of the high-level growth pole drives the coordinated development of the low-level growth pole.In this paper,the following research is carried out in line with the above logical relationship,and proves that the cultivation of growth poles is the realistic feasibility of the path to realize the goal of coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.This paper uses the research method of development economics and the theoretical framework of growth pole to study the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.Firstly,based on the relevant theoretical basis and the research on the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt,this paper finds that there may be some contradictions between the theory of regional coordinated development as a balanced development model and the theory of growth pole as an unbalanced development model.Secondly,this paper tries to establish a logical relationship between the theory of growth poles and the theory of regional coordinated development.By combining the advantages of these two theories,this paper explores the possible paths to cultivate the growth poles to drive the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt,so as to achieve the goal of coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.Thirdly,by combining normative analysis with empirical analysis,the author studies the practical feasibility of cultivating growth poles as an effective path to realize the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.Finally,the author compares whether the experience of cultivating growth poles to promote regional coordinated development at home and abroad is similar to the path explored in this paper,and summarizes the research in this paper.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: first,the cultivation of growth poles is one of the effective ways to achieve the goal of coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt.Second,promote the coordinated development of the Yangtze river economic belt through the coordinated development of growth poles.The coordinated development of growth poles is realized mainly through the radiation of high-level growth poles to drive the coordinated development of low-level growth poles.Among them: state-level growth poles,with Shanghai as the core to drive the coordinated development of Yangtze river delta city clusters,with wuhan as the core to drive the coordinated development of urban clusters in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river,and with chongqing as the core to drive the coordinated development of urban clusters in the upper reaches of the Yangtze river;Regional growth poles,regional central cities as the core,focus on provincial capitals as the core,to promote the coordinated development of regional urban clusters;The urban growth pole drives the coordinated development of surrounding areas with the core of industrial park growth.Third,compare to foster growth pole to drive the regional harmonious development experience at home and abroad,found in this article explore the path of the similarities,there are mainly the following three levels: one is to foster growth poles priority impetus to the development of their own,2 it is to drive and coordinate the development in surrounding the growth pole,three coordinated development is the growth pole by leading the regional harmonious development.Possible innovations of this paper: First,establish a logical relationship between the growth pole theory and the regional coordinated development theory,and try to explore the possible path of cultivating the growth pole to promote the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic belt.Secondly,it tries to build a platform growth pole system model to solve the problem of complementary and coordinated development between the core growth poles of urban agglomerations and those of surrounding cities,so as to enhance the radiation driving effect of the core growth poles of urban agglomerations.Third,it tries to explore the construction of a new economic support belt model to solve the problem of how the growth poles of core cities along the trunk lines drive the coordinated development of growth poles along the routes,and proposes to build a "horizontal axis of China’s national economic geography" to drive the coordinated and interconnected development of the three city clusters along the Yangtze River.
