Study On Planting Cost Efficiency Of Golden Jujube In Leling

Golden jujube originated from China.Leling,as a famous town of golden jujube,plays an important role in the production of golden jujube in China.Golden jujube has rich nutritional value and good quality,However,there are many problems in the cultivation of golden jujube,such as unreasonable input factors,low scale and low planting cost efficiency,which hinder the development of leling golden jujube industry.Therefore,in this thesis,the input-output,planting cost efficiency and its influencing factors were analyzed.Based on the theory of cost efficiency and scale economy,this paper used DEA model to measure the planting cost efficiency of golden jujube in Leling city through filed investigation and visits to 223 golden jujube growers.The research showed that: The planting cost efficiency was the main reason for the low planting cost efficiency.Tobit model was used to analyse the factors influencing the planting cost efficiency of golden jujube in leling city.The results showed that the age,education level,planting area and whether the farmers joined the cooperative had a significant positive impact on the planting cost efficiency of golden jujube,while the capital investment had a negative impact.On the basis of the above research,some countermeasures and suggestions were put forward,such as expanding planting area appropriately,improving planting cost efficiency,encouraging farmers to participate in cooperatives,improving farmers’ organization level,fostering scientific management concept,optimizing the allocation of input factors,increasing policy support and fine management of jujube gardens.The aim is to improve the quality of golden jujube,increase the economic income of jujube farmers and promote the development of golden jujube industry.
