Project management professional qualification certification is the most effective means to cultivate project management professionals.It can improve the theoretical knowledge of managers,strengthen the practical operation skills of managers,and greatly improve the competency of managers.Project management professional qualification certification also plays a certain role in promoting China’s social and economic development.It can also improve China’s enterprise management level,reduce the risk of project failure,realize the optimal allocation of project resources and improve social and economic benefits.It is an important task to explore the impact mechanism of project management professional qualification certification on managers’ competence and empirically study the effect of project management professional qualification certification.This paper deeply studies and analyzes the impact of project management professional qualification certification on employees’ competence from the following aspects: first,by deeply analyzing the logical relationship between project management professional qualification certification,self-efficacy and employees’ competence,this paper constructs the research model of "project management professional qualification certification-self-efficacy-employees’ competence";Second,a questionnaire survey was conducted in Chongqing.A total of 300 points were distributed and 291 copies were recovered,with a recovery rate of 97%.There were 284 valid questionnaires,and the effective rate was 94.67%;Thirdly,the statistical analysis software SPSSAU is used to analyze the collected data,including reliability and validity test,analysis of variance,correlation analysis,regression analysis and so on.Fourth,it puts forward enlightenment to the government,society,licensees and personnel about to hold certificates.Fifthly,it points out the limitations of this study and the direction of future research.This study obtains data through questionnaire survey and empirical research,and draws the following conclusions: first,professional standards,organization,assessment and certification and continuous learning have a significant positive impact on the competency of employees;Vocational training has no significant positive impact on the competency of employees.Second,professional standards and assessment and certification have a significant positive impact on self-efficacy;Training process and organization did not have a significant positive impact on self-efficacy.Third,self-efficacy has a significant positive impact on employees’ competency.Finally,self-efficacy plays an intermediary role in the relationship between professional standards,training process and employees’ competency;The mediating effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between organization,assessment and certification and continuing learning is not significant.
