Study On Community Participation In The Development Of Rural Home Stay

In recent years,with the transformation and upgrading of rural tourism,rural home stay has been booming in various places.Even in the face of the epidemic,it still shows strong and resilient,which has attracted extensive attention from all walks of life.Ever was concentrated on the study of rural home stay facility in product development and design of a home stay facility,home stay facility development impact on the tourism destination,the home stay facility development influencing factors and mechanism,the home stay facility development dilemma and way,rural home stay facility and related research in the areas of tourism development,but from the perspective of community residents out of a home stay facility rural industry attention is very little,As one of the core stakeholders of community development,residents play a key and decisive role in rural home stay tourism,and influence all stages and processes of rural home stay development planning,operation and management,and policy formulation.Moreover,it plays a positive role in improving rural infrastructure,increasing the employment rate of surplus labor force,increasing residents’ economic income,protecting and inheriting folk culture,and promoting rural revitalization.Taking Mingyue Village in Pujiang County as the case,this paper constructed an evaluation model of rural home stay community participation and designed a scale from four dimensions of sharing participation,development participation,supervision participation and protection participation.Primary data were collected through questionnaire survey and interview,and the reliability and validity of the scale were tested by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0.Descriptive analysis was made on the distribution of the population sample,community participation and perception of each dimension.Independent t-test and single factor analysis were made on the demographic characteristics of the sample.Based on this,the relationship between community participation and the perception of community residents’ participation in the development of rural home stay and its four sub-dimensions was further explored.The conclusions are as follows: first,the residents who participate in the development of rural home stay in Mingyue Village are mainly middle-aged and old women in the village;Second,residents’ participation forms tend to be diversified,including their own operation and management,working for non-local hosts,working for local hosts,and renting out their own houses to them to run B&B.Third,the overall participation of rural homestay community in Mingyue Village is at a medium level,with the highest average score of protection participation and the lowest average score of sharing participation.Fourth,there are significant differences in demographic variables such as gender,age,education process and service type in rural homestay community participation.Five is the rural community participation with the home stay facility of a home stay facility has positive influence on the development effect of relationships,including development of participation and supervision of participation,participation and rural community residents to participate in the home stay facility protection development results perceived that there was a positive correlation between the development of participation effect,the largest share participation and community residents to participate in the country there is no significant relationship between development results of home stay facility.Finally,in view of the problems existing in the community participation of Mingyue Village home stay,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the community residents’ participation in rural home stay from three aspects: improving the sharing mechanism,Build a communication platform and guaranteeing the supervision rights.
