In recent years,with suburban travel and short distance by self driving travel becoming the mainstream,the consumption of home stay is becoming more and more popular,rural home stay has mushroomed,injecting new vitality into rural innovation and entrepreneurship.Y City,Guangdong Province,has superior location and beautiful ecology,and has good conditions for the development of rural tourism.Relying on the unique advantages of natural resources,Y City strongly supports the development of home stay industry,showing a good trend of multipoint distribution and cluster development.Taking the rural home stay in Y City as the research object,this paper makes a SWOT analysis on the rural home stay market in Y City,in order to fully understand the internal conditions and external environment of the current rural home stay.Using The Marketing Theory of 7Ps,through the methods of literature analysis,interviews research and so on,this paper makes an empirical study on the current situation of rural home stay marketing in Y City,from the perspective of rural home stay.The study found that the product marketing strategy is mainly adopted by rural home stay in Y City,person marketing strategy is generally ignored.There are few rural home stay can fully cover or evenly promote the seven types of marketing strategies.The existing marketing strategies can be divided into three types: basic,promotion,and breakthroughs.Combined with the current situation of marketing strategy,this paper puts forward ideas and suggestions on the optimization path of strategy from the seven aspects of product,price,place,promotion,person,physical evidence and process,in accordance with the principle of "consolidate the base,optimize and expand,breakthrough the highlight",which has a certain reference significance for optimizing the marketing benefit of rural home stay in Y City and promoting sustainable development.
