China is going through a process of rapid development and urbanization. On the one hand, the reform and opening up has promoted the rapid improvement of production efficiency and the rapid development of industrialization in China, which has further promoted the increase of export product demand and domestic consumption demand, and the huge domestic and foreign demand has promoted the rapid growth of labor demand. On the other hand, with the development of agricultural mechanization, hundreds of millions of farmers have been liberated from the land, and farmers have turned into migrant workers to invest in urban construction.Migrant workers have made great contributions to the long-term,stable and rapid development of China’s economy. The urban integration of migrant workers is a hot issue at present. The urban integration of migrant workers includes multiple attributes, which involve the identity transformation from rural residents to urban residents,as well as the sense of belonging and identity of migrant workers themselves.Based on management, economics and sociology, scholars have conducted research from multiple perspectives. There are three main analytical paradigms. One is the modern analytical paradigm. The second is the social network analysis paradigm. The third is the analytical paradigm of institutionalism.Based on the methods of previous scholars, this chapter firstly expounds the development process and stage characteristics of migrant workers’ population flow and urban integration from a macro perspective. This paper analyzes the problems of urban integration of migrant workers from four aspects: the shortage of human capital of migrant workers, the shortage of social capital of migrant workers, the existing system exclusion, culture and space exclusion. Then, from the perspective of microdemonstration, this paper describes the status of migrant workers’ participation in residents’ basic endowment insurance, residents’ basic medical insurance, human capital, social capital and psychological capital by using micro-survey data.Using the correlation test migrant workers to participate in the residents basic endowment insurance, basic medical insurance and economic integration of rural migrant workers, social integration, the correlation between psychological fusion, using causal inference model analyzes the migrant workers to participate in the residents basic endowment insurance, basic medical insurance for migrant workers the influence of the economic integration, social integration, psychological fusion, examine the economic integration, social integration, and the interaction between psychological fusion and hierarchical relationship.Factor analysis is used to integrate economic integration, social integration and psychological integration into a single explained variable of urban integration,so as to analyze the overall impact of migrant workers’ participation in residents’ basic endowment insurance and residents’ basic medical insurance on migrant workers’ urban integration.Emphatically analyses the migrant workers to participate in the residents basic endowment insurance, basic medical insurance for the new and old urban integration influence the differences of two generations of migrant workers, and use the quantile regression analysis of migrant workers to participate in the residents basic endowment insurance, basic medical insurance for into the influence of different degree of migrant workers, the robustness test were conducted for the relevant conclusions. Finally, from the perspective of good governance theory, this paper proposes that the government, social organizations, enterprises, urban residents and migrant workers should form a joint force to create a good social integration atmosphere and promote the urban integration of migrant workers in order to maximize the benefits of urban integration of migrant workers. The government should support urban integration of migrant workers in legislation, personnel and organization guarantee, financial support, market supervision and other aspects.Social organizations should give full play to their advantages in personnel and organization to provide public welfare services for the urban integration of migrant workers.Enterprises should assume social responsibilities and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers.residents should accept and welcome migrant workers into the city.Migrant workers themselves should strive to improve human capital and social capital, and maintain an optimistic attitude to actively integrate into the city. The main conclusions of the empirical part of this paper are as follows:(1)participation in residents’ basic endowment insurance and residents’ basic medical insurance have different impacts on the economic integration, social integration and psychological integration of migrant workers.Participation in residents’ basic endowment insurance and residents’ basic medical insurance has more significant impacts on the economic integration and psychological integration of migrant workers.(2)economic integration, social integration and psychological integration influence each other and progress in turn.(3)participation in residents’ basic endowment insurance and residents’ basic medical insurance have different impacts on the urban integration of the new and old generations of migrant workers, and have stronger impacts on the old generation of migrant workers.(4)the influence of participating in the residents’ basic endowment insurance and residents’ basic medical insurance on the urban integration of migrant workers decreases with the increase of the urban integration level of migrant workers.
