| The number of Internet users in my country has exceeded 1 billion, and the internet penetration rate of minors is as high as 96.8%.The Internet has become an inseparable part of the lives of young students. As a product of information technology, the Internet can be a powerful tool for youth growth, education, and communication, but its popularity has raised concerns about privacy, information security.Self-disclosure in adolescence is beneficial for adolescents to complete the transformation of their physical, psychological and social identities, but they belong to information disadvantaged groups, with limited cognitive ability, weak critical thinking, and lack of information security awareness, which make them disclose more personal information, and they are easy to become the targets of cybercriminals, which will have a negative impact on their learning, physical and mental health. Therefore,it is necessary to study the privacy disclosure behavior of minors,so as to improve the privacy protection awareness of minors. This paper uses a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research.First, conduct semi-structured in-depth interviews with teenagers, and analyze 8 major influencing factors of teenagers’ privacy disclosure behavior on social networking platforms, namely autonomy needs, belonging needs, extraversion, privacy education, perceived risk, trust, subjective norms and perceived behavior controls. Then, based on the results obtained by combing relevant literature and interview coding, combined with the theory of planned behavior, privacy computing theory and self-determination theory to construct a theoretical model, put forward hypotheses and design questionnaires, the questionnaires were pre-investigated first, and formal questionnaires were distributed online and offline after passing the reliability and validity test. Finally, accordance with the data obtained from the questionnaire, descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity test and structural equation model test are carried out.The research results show that: the belonging needs, extraversion, and subjective norms have a significant positive impact on adolescents’ willingness to disclose privacy;perceived behavior control has a certain positive impact on privacy disclosure intention;perceived risk has a significant negative impact on privacy disclosure intention;teenagers’ privacy education has a significant positive impact on their perceived risk;trust has a significant negative impact on perceived risk;privacy disclosure willingness has a significant positive impact on privacy disclosure behavior. The study of this paper expands the research object of social network users’ privacy disclosure behavior, and provides a certain theoretical reference for the subsequent research on the influencing factors of privacy disclosure behavior,at the same time,it also provides countermeasures to promote the development of social network platforms, and provides suggestions for society, schools, and families on ways to protect the privacy of young people, helping young people establish a more correct privacy awareness, and helping to promote the healthy development of the social network environment. |
