Research On Modeling Method And Workflow Engine For Cross-Border E-Commerce Service Platform

Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce,third-party service platforms for cross-border e-commerce have also emerged one after another.In the development process of cross-border e-commerce third-party service platforms,problems such as a lack of business modeling methods for cross-border e-commerce service platform,lack of unified modeling language,high coupling of business process design and business logic implementation,and a lack of lightweight workflow engines that support dynamic changes in cross-border e-commerce service business processes have gradually been exposed.Based on these considerations,a business modeling method based on business element models was proposed for cross-border e-commerce service platforms,and this method was applied to implement a workflow engine that supports dynamic changes in business processes.Firstly,an analysis of the development status of Cross-border E-commerce Service Platform(CBESP),meta-modeling,and workflow engines both domestically and internationally was conducted.The current weaknesses in the development of CBESP were summarized,leading to the proposal of a modeling method and research on the workflow engine for CBESP,including key issues to be addressed.Furthermore,theories and technologies related to meta-modeling,business modeling,and workflows were reviewed.Next,a business meta-model and business process meta-model were constructed for CBESP business modeling.Based on the business meta-model,the business model was defined,and an actual case was used to illustrate the process of establishing the CBESP business model.Furthermore,a requirement analysis was conducted for the workflow engine targeted at CBESP,and the design principles of the workflow engine based on meta-models and business models were described.A hierarchical model for CBESP workflow engine was constructed,which included the meta-model layer,business model layer,verification and analysis layer,and execution layer.The interaction processes between layers and the design principles of key functions in each layer were provided.Then,based on the hierarchical model and design principles for the workflow engine targeted at CBESP,the overall implementation architecture of the workflow engine was designed.The problems solved by each layer,the design of data structures,process flowcharts,definition information of methods,and specific implementation steps were provided.Finally,the implemented lightweight workflow engine targeted at CBESP was applied to an actual cross-border e-commerce service platform project.The integration process of the workflow engine with existing projects was provided,and using the actual business model in the project as an example,a detailed and complete explanation was given on how the workflow engine targeted at CBESP was applied,the effect of the application,and the testing and validation of the core functions of the workflow engine.
