With the rapid popularization of mobile social media and the rapid development of the entertainment industry,the scale of virtual fan communities has expanded rapidly in a short period of time,and the interactive behavior within the community has been continuously evolved and updated,and the fan culture based on this is also constantly enriched and developed.Under the participation and construction of fan culture by media and capital,as well as the continuous extension of fan relationship network,fans and "things" have a close connection,revealing the mutual entanglement of things and fans,fan communities and fan culture,and the interaction of fans around objects enriches the picture of fan culture research.Focusing on material participation in virtual communities,starting from the emotional dimension,based on the theory of interactive rituals,and analyzing the characteristics of virtual community interactive rituals and their emotional energy from the material perspective,the author analyzes the "things" at different stages of virtual fan community interaction and their impact on individuals and communities from the theory of interactive ritual chains,in an attempt to illustrate the indispensability of material conditions in virtual community interaction.The author first explains what is ritual in virtual community interaction from the aspects of common concern,identity and emotional sharing,and analyzes and summarizes the behavioral characteristics of virtual fan community interaction.Secondly,the participation and emotional meaning of typical materials such as media,consumables,and human feelings in different stages of interactive rituals are sorted out.Finally,the meaning of "things" in the virtual fan community is discussed and reflected."Things" is an important condition for the generation,stimulation and continuation of virtual fan community interaction,and the fan’s emotions are embodied in the connection between virtual and reality,on the one hand,it becomes an indispensable energy reserve for collective action,and on the other hand,it has also become the inducement of individual fans and community irregular behavior,therefore,the "thing" in the virtual fan community interaction ceremony is to observe and analyze the practical behavior of fans from a micro and specific perspective,which has guiding and regulating the fan community.
