Research On Museum Exhibition Design In The New Era

The rapid development of museums around the world in the new era has largely changed the traditional museum exhibition format,making the composition of exhibitions tend to be multidisciplinary and multi-faceted,but ultimately it is still based on the modern display of local characteristics and culture.It is imperative for museums to build exhibitions of local characteristics and culture that are integrated with the cultural needs of the new era so as to tell local stories.The Museum of Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region renovates and upgrades the permanent exhibitions in the museum,focusing on two aspects of content design and form design to improve the quality of the exhibitions,and launches four new permanent exhibitions such as "Exhibition on Guangxi Ancient Civilization","Hepu as a Port of Departure","Gorgeous Glazes" and "Ingenious Crafts".The content of the exhibition is based on the local characteristic culture,linking the historical and cultural information and the story behind the cultural relics,presenting the multicultural spirit to the audience,and building the "story" system that belongs to Guangxi alone.On this basis,the curator strives to create a unique cultural space for the audience,from the style of exhibition design to the setting of exhibition space to the extraction of visual symbols,and establishes a channel for the audience to have a " communicate " with the exhibition,exhibits and history.The Museum Of Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region connects the ancient civilization of Guangxi with the modern civilization,and creates an important temple for protecting and passing on Chinese civilization,and a place that assumes educational significance.Combining museum exhibitions with local characteristics and cultural needs of the new era helps promote museums to convey the spirit of Chinese civilization and shoulder the responsibility of cultural education in the new era.
