Research On The Application Of Narrative Techniques In Museum Exhibition Design

Since the reform and opening up,the quality of life of Chinese people has been significantly improved.With the free opening of museums,the development trend of China’s museum industry has risen rapidly,and the people’s spiritual and cultural needs are growing.At present,there are more than 5,000 museums in China,and the number of visitors has increased by 100 million in recent years.Among them,the comprehensive museum is a place for reflecting the excellent traditional Chinese culture,urban history and culture,and local folk culture,and is a complex of "things" and "culture".In our country in the process of rapid development,comprehensive museum part of the museum appeared thousand side,exhibition content empty boring,exhibition method old outdated lead to visitors and exhibits establish efficient communication bridge,some exhibits obscure,panel text volume larger phenomenon has been unable to meet people’s expectations and yearning,this puts forward new requirements for the museum interior exhibition design.Through literature research,field research,comparative analysis and design practice,this thesis starts from the comprehensive museum and narrative exhibition design,and provides new ideas and new horizons for the museum interior exhibition method.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part expounds the relevant concepts theoretically,discusses the content composition of comprehensive museums and the adaptation of narrative exhibition design,and puts forward the narrative turning trend of museum interior exhibition design.The second part is the analysis of the design,construction,narrative strategies of the National Museum,National Museum,Henan Provincial Museum and Nanjing Museum.The third part,through the theoretical overview and design content research,analyzes and thinks about the existing problems of comprehensive exhibition space,puts forward targeted improvement opinions,and summarizes the design methods,design process and design principles of narrative exhibition design in comprehensive museums.The fourth part takes Zhanjiang Museum as an example for the narrative design practice,the exhibition content as the overall narrative structure,(1)through the "storytelling" and the exhibits emotional communication,solve the obscure and trivial problems;(2)adopts a variety of narrative design strategies to express the contents of each library,reflect the characteristics and integrity of the space theme,and create a comprehensive artistic experience space.Summarize the specific design strategy of museum design narrative,discuss the application value of narrative,reflect the interdisciplinary academic thought,clarify the trend of integrated museum and contemporary social popular culture,and provide the guiding significance and enlightenment value for the future design narrative practice.
