| Written in 720 years after Emperor Yuanzheng’s retirement,Nihonshoji was written by Prince Shi Ren and is the first surviving official history of Japan.The Nippon Shoki records the major deeds,political activities,economic measures,and foreign relations of the emperor from Jimmu to Chigumi,including Japanese myths and legends.Except for 128 ballads,the book is all written in Chinese.Written in1145 in the 23 rd year of Emperor Injong of Goryeo and written by Bong Chi of Kim Fushi,the Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms is not only the earliest historical book in existence on the Korean Peninsula,but also the first biographical historical book on the Korean Peninsula.Written in Chinese,the book records the history of The Three Kingdoms of Silla,Kogoryo and Baekje on the Korean Peninsula,as well as their geography,sacrifices and officials.Therefore,the two documents are not only the national history of the country,but also belong to the category of foreign Chinese books.Although the two books were written in a long time apart,there are overlaps in the recorded content.Therefore,this paper takes Nippon Shoji and Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms as the research center,investigates them from the perspective of philology and historiography,and makes a comparative study of them in four parts.The introduction part gives a general overview of the research object and significance,summarizes the basic situation of the current academic research on Nihon Shoji and Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms,and determines the main research methods.The first part is the compilation of "Nippon Shoji" and "Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms".This paper mainly investigates the similarities between the background of the book of Nippon Shoji and the Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms,analyzes the purpose of compilation of the two books,and sorts out their compilation process.The second part is the comparison between the compilation methods of Nippon Shoji and Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms.The historical sources of the two books were researched from the aspects of Chinese ancient books and Chinese classics respectively,and the compilation styles and characteristics of the two books were analyzed.The third part mainly compares the historical materials about the diplomatic activities of Japan and Korea in the Nippon Shoji and the Chronicles of The Three Kingdoms,and divides the diplomatic materials in the two books into four parts according to time.On the basis of collecting and sorting out the relevant historical materials in the two books,this paper makes a comparative analysis of them.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the value and deficiency of the historical materials about the diplomatic activities of Japan and Korea in the two books,and analyzes the possible problems in the historical materials of the two books. |
