Wireless body area networks(WBANs)are one of the Internet of things technology that has attracted much attention, which are composed of several WBANs sensors and medical cloud servers and can collect patients’ body data.To improve the security of data that collected by sensors, these data are usually encrypted first, and then uploaded to the medical cloud server. However, this strategy cannot fulfill the requirement of data searching or sorting. To address the challenge, the public key encryption with equality test(PK-ET)was proposed, which can compare whether two different plaintexts that corresponding to the ciphertext are equal without decryption.Meanwhile,WBANs often consist of different domain networks, and different domain networks use different cryptosystems,so formulating a cross-domain encryption scheme with equality test is required. However, the existing schemes use the same cryptographic parameters in different cryptosystems, and do not achieve known session-specific temporary information security, which reduces their feasibility in cross-domain WBANs environment. To solve this problem, this paper presents an research on cross-domain encryption with equality test and its application in WBANs,and the main contributions are as follows:(1)This paper proposes a cross-domain encryption scheme with equality test for WBANs.In our scheme, both sides of the transmission are in certificateless cryptosystem and identity-based cryptosystem.Through rigorous security analysis, our scheme can achieve confidentiality,one-way identity information security and known session-specific temporary information security(KSTIS).In addition, compared with the existing schemes, this scheme reduces the bilinear pairing operation and significantly reduces the computing cost,so it is more suitable for the energyconstrained WBANs devices(2)This paper proposes a cross domain signcryption scheme with equality test for WBANs.In our scheme, ciphertext is transmitted from certificateless cryptosystem to public key infrastructure, where different cryptosystems use different cryptographic parameters.Through security analysis, our scheme can achieve confidentiality, unforgeability,KSTIS and resist replay attacks. Finally, through detailed experiments and analysis, compared with the existing schemes, this scheme realizes better performance and is more suitable for the WBANs environment.
