Signcryption can perform both the functions of signature and encryption in onelogic step. Compared with the traditional “signature-then-encryption”, signcryptionis of the less computational cost and the higher efficiency.Certificateless cryptography was presented by Al-Ryiami and Paterson in2003,Compared with IBC (identity-based cryptography) and traditional public-key system,its private key structured by the user and KGC (Key Generation Center), it solvesthe inherent key escrow problem exsiting in IBC (identity-based cryptography) andprovides a better security. Meanwhile, for unexsiting certificate, it provides a higherefficiency and voids the certificate management problem of traditional public-keysystem.In this paper, we mainly discuss certificateless signcryption schemes and thenfor applications in VoIP communication. The main content displays as follow:Most signcryption schemes can only handle a certain length of plaintext, whilehybrid signcryption scheme can do it well. Most hybrid signcryption schemes pro-posed in recently can not guarantee the security of temporary keys. We improvedalgorithm on the basis of past programs and gives a secure, high-performance hy-brid signcryption scheme.The signcryption schemes proposed in the past can not guarantee the unique-ness of user’s identity, but based signcryption biometric information can fix thisproblem. There are two problems existing in the biometric signcryption schemeproposed by Li, including the inherent key escrow problem of IBC, no knownses-sion-specific temporary information security, public verifiability with confidential-ity and forward secrecy. We present an efficient biometric signcryption scheme us-ing certificateless cryptography to solve previous problems.Putting certificateless signcryption in VoIP communications, we present a safe-ty program in VoIP communication to solve the existing security issues. Meanwhile verified by experiments, the program meets the security requirements.
