The National People’s Congress(NPC)and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC),which are held annually in March,are the highest-level political meetings in China.They cover various fields,such as politics,economics,culture,and military,and are highly regarded both domestically and internationally.They are also a major focus of the Chinese media’s reporting.After the special challenge of two consecutive years of the COVID-19 pandemic,China.org.cn’s 2022 NPC and CPPCC special coverage made significant progress in terms of content collection and editorial form,as well as bold attempts in ideology and channel expansion.It has received positive feedback from the international community and is not only an important achievement of China’s integrated media coverage,but also a powerful demonstration of China’s deepening foreign propaganda system construction.Based on this realistic background,this study first takes the special report of the 2022 Two Sessions of China.org.cn as the research object,analyzes the reporting content and text connotation of the special report of the 2022 Two Sessions of China.org.cn from the macro and micro perspectives,and explores the reporting framework of the two sessions reports on China.org.cn in terms of topic setting,form presentation and emotional penetration.Under the overall framework of the coverage of the Two Sessions,the author summarizes the reporting strategies of China.org.cn in the special reports of the Two Sessions on content construction,formal presentation and communication channels based on actual reporting cases.Secondly,in addition to the analysis of report content and strategy research,this study also starts from the audience level in the form of a questionnaire survey,and helps further explore the problems in the report and the communication effect at the audience level from the feedback and evaluation of the audience of the two sessions of China.org.cn.Finally,comprehensive content analysis and questionnaire survey results show that there are three problems in the reports : Lack of detailed expression of grand propositions at the level of content construction;The use of new media technologies needs to be strengthened in the form of reporting;In terms of communication channels,it is necessary to pay attention to the construction of social media interaction space.In view of the above research results,this study puts forward optimization suggestions from three levels: content,form and channel:Stand in the audience-oriented position,focus on topic setting,and show the content of the report with micro-narrative;Adhere to content-oriented,combined with emerging technologies,and visually enrich the form of reporting;Combine the needs of the audience,build an interactive community,and use social media as a medium to expand reporting channels.
