But thereare some problems in the coverage, and it is very hard to spread it and make it abridge between public and NPC and CPPCC, so it is necessary to study the coverageof Metropolitan Daily on NPC and CPPCC.By analyzing five years text of Southern Metropolitan Daily, the articleconcludes the hot topic of NPC and CPPCC coverage, and from these we get its mainfeature causes, rules and tendency.By content analysis, we focus on the materials of Southern Metropolitan Daily inthe past five years in order to find its basic principles, existing problems on the NPCand CPPCC" reportage. At last, I want to analyses the causes and the innovation waysand suggestions.Through content analysis, we found that Southern Metropolitan Daily’s coverageon NPC and CPPCC have four hot topics: NPC and CPPCC agenda; representatives’proposal; social hot topics and media planning issues. The procedural issues includeCPPCC Press Conference and its opening, NPC Press Conference, Premier’sgovernment working report," two high" working report and Premier’s pressconference.Through the comparative analysis, we found that there exist the followingproblems in Southern Metropolitan Daily’ coverage: social issues and news topics arenot consistent, there are too many titbits, the respondents are mainly from celebrityand the bill focused are mainly abnormal ones, the reports have the following feature:fragmentation, model, framework and conflict.As a bridge between politicis and public communication Metropolitan Dailyshould pay attention to the topic of NPC and CPPCC, change reporting perspective toequal angle, to the head, adhere to hard news, ply more to the public’s informationneeds.If media want to totally change the existing problems, their staff should changethe existing cognitive framework.
