In the new era of rapid development of China’s economy and continuous improvement of people’s living standards,people pay more and more attention to health problems,and the demand for health information has also increased greatly.Under the trend of "younger" diseases,contemporary college students have gradually begun to pay attention to their own health.Especially under the background of the new crown outbreak,will be coronavirus is highly pathogenic,high transmissibility,uncertainty,caused the college students to their health panic and anxiety,and because will be coronavirus constantly variation and the phenomenon of immune escape,makes the outbreak,the global epidemic is still not get effective control,it is in the age of information explosion of contemporary college students’ life has a profound impact.In information in the ocean of us,in the face of the explosive growth of health information,in order to improve the efficiency of the information acquisition will take excessive avoid or delay acquisition behavior,and because of this group of their health cognition is shallow,the ability to process health information is insufficient,these evade information will exist valuable information,negative information avoidance behavior may make college students avoid the important health information and make its physical and mental health have serious impact.Therefore,in the context of COVID-19 under the background of COVID-19.Only by understanding the causes of health information avoidance among college students,can relevant departments formulate more targeted coping strategies to better deal with the possible public emergencies in the future.This paper first systematically combs and summarizes the research on health information avoidance behavior.The related theories are elaborated.Secondly,based on the literature,the relevant factors affecting the avoidance behavior of college students’ health information in the background of COVID-19 were extracted,which were divided into three main categories: personal factors,environmental factors and information factors.And propose relevant hypotheses and models.This study mainly used quantitative analysis,used the questionnaire survey method to collect the required data,and analyzed the obtained data with spss software,so as to explain the influencing factors of college students’ health information avoidance behavior in the background of COVID-19.Research has shown that the outbreak background of negative emotions,cognitive conflict,behavior change,trust crisis,group norms,information,privacy,information overload has a positive impact on college students ’health information avoidance behavior,and information quality has a negative effect on it,and try to analyze the personal factors in college students’ health information avoidance behavior of intermediary effect.According to the above conclusions,reasonable suggestions were put forward from college students themselves,online platforms,mainstream media,society and the government to help college students better handle health information during the epidemic.
