Application And Exploration Of The "Community Participatory Museum" Model

With the development of the times,the functions of museums gradually change with people’s needs,and community participatory museums are one of the emerging development trends.Participatory culture advocates that culture comes from the participation of all,and is a process of continuous sharing and dissemination.The core meaning of this culture is to "turn the audience from passive to active".A community participatory museum is a community museum that takes the concept of "participatory" as an important concept for running a museum.The combination of community museums and the concept of "participatory" can not only enable community citizens to participate in the development of the museum industry and become the masters of museums,but also enable museums to further enter people’s lives,thereby better realizing their social functions and values.Currently,the understanding and application of the community participatory museum model in China is at a preliminary stage of exploration and development.Some community museums have begun to apply the concept and model of "participatory" to their own construction and development,and have accumulated some practical experience.The "Hongqiao Airport Xincun Community Participatory Museum" in Shanghai is a typical case.The purpose of this article is to explore and study the "community participatory museum" model using the "Hongqiao Airport New Village Community Participatory Museum" as an example,with the aim of exploring its connotation and concept,clarifying its structure,form,practice method,future development direction,and other content,and systematically combing and summarizing this,in order to explore the community participatory museum model that meets the national conditions and its potential for future development.
