From smartphones that rely on artificial intelligence(AI)to the Internet of Things(IoT),5G or the automotive industry,semiconductor technology pervades all aspects of consumer,enterprise and industrial equipment.With the establishment of the STB,a large number of semiconductor enterprises have been able to access the capital market to raise capital and the semiconductor industry has been able to expand rapidly.However,as a new industry,traditional valuation methods have unavoidable shortcomings in the practical application of semiconductor enterprise valuation,and it has become a hot topic to explore enterprise valuation methods that are suitable for the valuation of semiconductor enterprises.In this paper,we try to improve the traditional market approach by using mathematical and statistical knowledge to establish a cluster principal component regression model to assess the value of semiconductor enterprises,in order to obtain more objective and accurate valuation results.Then,this paper defines semiconductor enterprises,analyses and compares the limitations of traditional enterprise valuation methods and derivative methods in the valuation of semiconductor enterprises,and proposes the cluster principal component regression method,which is suitable for the valuation of semiconductor enterprises according to the development status of the semiconductor industry and the characteristics of semiconductor enterprises.The innovative method is based on the development of the semiconductor industry and the characteristics of semiconductor enterprises.Finally,the paper uses SPSS software to build a clustered principal component regression model for SMIC,and compares the valuation value derived from the clustered principal component regression model with the valuation value of SMIC at the valuation base date and the results of the traditional market method to verify the accuracy and applicability of the clustered principal component regression method for The accuracy and applicability of the cluster principal component regression method for valuing semiconductor enterprises were verified.Through the theoretical research and empirical analysis of this paper,this paper argues that compared with the traditional market method,the clustering principal component regression method can avoid the influence of human subjective factors in the selection process of comparable enterprises in the process of evaluating the value of semiconductor enterprises,and can synthesize the characteristics of semiconductor enterprises to obtain value multipliers that truly affect the value of semiconductor enterprises,and obtain more accurate evaluation results.In addition,the establishment of clustering principal component regression model relies on SPSS software,which is simple to operate and can simplify the enterprise value evaluation process,which not only enriches the value evaluation theory of semiconductor enterprises in China,but also provides a new idea for evaluators and investors to evaluate enterprise value.
