Abstract/Summary:
With the development of modern science and technology, wireless communication technique has become an indispensable part of nowadays society. In order to meet people’s demands in daily production and life, how to achieve more efficient information transmission is a significant issue in the field of wireless communication.Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO)technique transmits information faster by using multiple antennas to form a transmission channel.Furthermore,MIMO can make full use of the existing spectrum resources, improve system capacity and spectrum efficiency as well as improving stability and effectiveness of the signal link. However, these advantages are achieved at the cost of increasing the complexity of its transmitter or receiver will increase and limiting its usage,etc..Spatial Modulation(SM)technology,as a new multiple-input multiple-output technology, solves many problems in MIMO systems, which is a very promising scheme for wireless communication transmission. This thesis researches on signal detection problems in transmitter of SM systems.Firstly, the basic theory and system models of spatial modulation and its extended generalized spatial modulation are introduced in details. Then, the optimal detection algorithm and several common low-complexity sub-optimal detection algorithms for SM systems are focused on.In addition, their performance and computational complexity are analyzed by the simulation. Finally, three algorithms including Multiple-stage(MS)detection algorithm, the List_SVD detection algorithm based on signal vector and the M-algorithm to ML(MML)detection algorithm based on M-algorithm,are improved by using the quantization judgment method in order to reduce the computation complexity.Furthermore, probabilistic ordering is used to decreased the number of search points according to the tree structure of MML algorithm. Finally, simulation results show that the three given signal detection algorithms have lower computational complexity with good performance.Consequently, they are more suitable to SM systems with larger modulation orders.
