| In order to meet the urgent need of wireless communication technique with higher spectrum utilization,higher data transmission rate and lower hardware complexity,multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)technique has attracted extensive attention of researchers.This technique upgrades the transmitter and receiver of the system to multiple antennas for data transmission,and greatly improves the spectrum efficiency and capacity of the communication system by utilizing the new resource-spatial dimension.As a unique multi-antenna transmission technique,Spatial Modulation(SM)reduces the complexity and the cost of hardware implementation and improves the flexibility of MIMO system.On the other hand,it also meets the requirements of diversified link configurations in future communication systems.SM technique adds the antenna activation state as a new information to signal modulation to realize data transmission,which makes the system have all the advantages mentioned above,but also introduces some new problems.In this context,the signal detection algorithm at the receiving of SM system is studied in depth in order to find an algorithm with good detection performance and low computational complexity.The work done is as follows:Firstly,on the basis of introducing the basic principle and system model of SM system in detail,this paper discusses the common signal detection algorithms for SM system,including the optimal and sub-optimal signal detection algorithms.The performance of various algorithms is simulated and compared by MATLAB software,and their computational complexity is analyzed,and some valuable conclusions are obtained,which can be used for SM system.Inter-application provides useful reference value.Then,based on the characteristics of traditional detection algorithms,a new sub-optimal algorithm-joint signal detection algorithm,is proposed.The algorithm first uses step-by-step algorithm to get the antenna number set,and then carries out threshold decision.Through threshold selection,it can switch between different detection algorithms.It synthesizes the advantages of different algorithms to make up for the disadvantages.The simulation results show that the proposed NMRC-HL algorithm can achieve good performance and low computational complexity,and is more suitable for massive SM system. |
