Research On The Interior Design Of Cultural Relics Display Cabinets In Museum Exhibition

The interior design of display cases in museum exhibitions is a branch of display art design and serves as the most direct window for dialogue between museum exhibitions and the audience.As society has developed and the concept of museums has evolved,the role of display case interior design in exhibiting cultural relics has changed.It is no longer just a simple means of security protection,but also takes into account the artistic beauty of individual cultural relics and the overall aesthetic effect of the exhibit.Additionally,current museology emphasizes the “interpretation”function,focusing on information related to cultural relics.As such,the interior design of cultural relic display cases seeks to achieve a perfect integration of cultural relics and related auxiliary information in order to enhance the understanding and experience of the audience.The interior design of display cases carries an increasing number of responsibilities,including content display,art dissemination,and emotional connection,and is receiving more and more attention.However,there are currently few comprehensive studies on display case interior design;most are superficial,generalized narratives or experience summaries of individual cases.There is a large gap between the current state of research and the needs of the times,and systematic theoretical research is urgently needed to provide guidance for the future development of display case design.This thesis begins by examining the historical development of interior display case design and presenting the problems of current development.From there,it elaborates on the presentation,functions,and principles of interior display design.Subsequently,it conducts an in-depth analysis of the internal design of display cases,including elements such as the display of cultural relics,auxiliary information,lighting,display equipment,and visual color and material performance.Then,using actual cases as examples,it explores the design methods of cultural relic display case interior design.This includes research on four aspects: the internal spatial relationship of the display case,the combination of cultural relics,the combination of cultural relics and information,and the impact of color and material on the interpretation of cultural relics.The thesis also summarizes the current characteristics and trends in display case interior design.By utilizing multidisciplinary methods such as design psychology,museology,and ergonomics to enhance the effectiveness and artistry of display case interior design,this paper provides new ideas and possibilities for cultural relic display case interior design in museum exhibitions through theoretical and practical analysis and generalization.
