Nowadays,media plays an increasingly important role in people’s daily life.It expands the way people perceive the world and further reorganizes people’s life scenes.The cloud self-study live broadcast has entered the public’s view under the trend of the vertical development of the content in the field of live broadcast and short video,and as a unique form of slow live broadcast,it has become a new choice for people to conduct learning activities alone.The "online self-study room" built by cloud self-study live users in cyberspace with the help of media technology has realized the presentation of real-time learning status,the sharing of learning contexts and the recording of learning process,and gradually affected the original life and learning style of users participating in it.In the past two years,with the continuous expansion of the user scale and the expansion of the platform,cloud self-study live broadcast has become a communication phenomenon that cannot be ignored in the field of live broadcasting.As a kind of context-based communication,what kind of learning context has been built by the cloud self-study live broadcast,which has achieved large-scale development in the context era,and what kind of motivation is the user to use the cloud self-study live broadcast,and how does the learning context built meet the user’s needs?Based on the consideration of the above questions,the research takes the media context theory as the perspective,through the comprehensive application of research methods such as participatory observation,in-depth interview and questionnaire survey,analyzes the context construction and user motivation of cloud self-study live broadcast from the perspective of transmission and reception,and tries to find the relationship between the "new media" of cloud self-study live broadcast and the "new behavior" of people using cloud self-study live broadcast for learning.The research is mainly carried out from three aspects.The first part analyzes the overview of cloud self-study live broadcast,and specifically expounds the research design and ideas of this thesis,and analyzes the user portrait of cloud self-study live broadcast;The second part analyzes the new media context of cloud self-study live broadcast according to the context construction elements,and clarifies the use motivation behind user behavior and how it can be satisfied under the context of cloud self-study live broadcast through the survey and interview results;The third part is to reflect and explore the problems existing in the live broadcast of cloud self-study,and propose targeted optimization development strategies.The research found that the "online self-study room" created by the cloud self-study live broadcast has built field contexts,action contexts and social contexts for users.In such learning context,users use the cloud self-study live broadcast as the anchor or viewer to actively enter the field of common learning for learning activities,which is out of emotional,instrumental,and self-fulfilling demands.Cloud self-study live broadcast meets user needs to varying degrees through context construction,but there are also problems that deviate from the original purpose of learning,such as formalism.Therefore,we should treat and use cloud self-study live broadcast rationally,enhance scene adaptation to give full play to its advantages,and hope for good development in the future.
