Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of Internet technology,the issue of information security has attracted the attention of most people.Therefore,reversible data hiding technology has become a research topic that many scholars have focused on in recent years.With the rapid development and wide application of multimedia technology and computer network technology,a large amount of data is generated,and more and more data such as images,videos and audios are transmitted,stored or further processed on the Internet.Reversible data hiding technology can not only transmit secret information safely,but also restore the original carrier image without distortion,especially in military and hospital fields that require high information security and original carrier image distortion.Nowadays,due to the needs of work and life,people’s demand for reversible data hiding technology is constantly increasing.It is necessary to embed a large amount of secret information,and the capacity of embedding secret information can be determined by the user himself,and there must be some information in the transmission process.A certain degree of security.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a reversible data hiding technology with larger embedding capacity and higher visual quality.The performances of these two restrict each other and it is difficult to balance.Such problems are the key to the research.This article focuses on the research from the two aspects of embedding capacity and restoration of the original carrier’s distortion.The main contributions made include the following:(1)This paper proposes a new fully enclosed forecasting method.Combining the advantages of the median edge detector predictor and the diamond prediction method in the previous work,it makes full use of the neighboring pixels around the measured pixel value to obtain a more accurate prediction value,and select the embedded pixel when embedding secret information The position of the value improves the accuracy rate and further improves the visual quality of the embedded image.(2)A method for calculating the texture level of a local area of a pixel based on a fully enclosed prediction method is proposed.The 3*3 pixels can be divided into upper and lower parts,and each part calculates the sum of the absolute value of the difference between adjacent pixels and the measured pixel.Then add the calculated values of these two parts.In the calculation process,the pixel content is fully considered,and the texture level of the local area of the pixel is more accurately distinguished,and the accuracy of selecting embedded pixels is further improved,thereby improving the low distortion of the image.The results of comparative experiments show that the new fully enclosed prediction method proposed in this paper and the method of calculating the texture degree of local regions are significantly better than other existing methods in terms of embedding capacity and image peak signal-to-noise ratio.
