Integration and low phase noise are the inevitable trend and practical basis for the development of microwave signal sources. The highly coherent Kerr soliton combs in microcavity provide an effective technical approach for the generation of new integrated and low-phase noise microwave signals. This paper focuses on low-phase noise microwave signal generation, which based on soliton combs in MgF2 microcavity. The main research work is as follows:In this paper,a stable platform for soliton combs generation in MgF2 microcavity is constructed. The thermal instability problem of microcavity is overcome by the fast frequency sweep of the pump. Finally, the stable generation of soliton combs in high-quality MgF2 microcavity is realized. In this paper, the generation of low-phase noise microwave signals based on soliton combs in MgF2 microcavity is realized.15.38GHz microwave signal with the phase noise of-120dBc/Hz@10kHz based on soliton combs in MgF2 microcavity is obtained. On this basis,15.87GHz microwave signal with the phase noise of-118dBc/Hz@10kHz is obtained by combing the high-efficiency prism coupling technology, which will provide the technical support for the fully integrated development and robustness improvement of the low phase noise microwave signal generation system.
