With the fast and continuous development of electronic equipments,the information interconnection between different devices is increasing steadily,and the performance requirements for microwave singal sources are also increasing rapidly.Comparing with single frequency of microwave signal source.Microwave frequency comb has many advantages of wider frequency bandwidth,strong penetration ability,high precision of line spacing,etc,which has important application values in the communication,military,medical,detection fields and so on.Thus,how to generate a high-density wide tunable microwave frequency comb has caused widespread attentions and research interests of both domestic and foreign scholars.So,a new generation scheme of the high-performance microwave frequency comb based on the acousto-optic frequency shifting circuit is proposed in the paper,the specific contents and main conclusions are listed as following:Firstly,this paper expounds the important applications of microwave signals in various fields,illustrates the unique advantages of microwave frequency comb itself,and then introduces some valuable and existing schemes for producing microwave frequency comb of both domestic and foreign.Then a generation scheme of the high-performance microwave frequency comb based on the acousto-optic frequency shifting circuit is proposed in the paper.Comparing with some of the existing schemes,this scheme has very simple structure,low cost and is easy to implement and control,a ultra-wide tunable microwave frequency comb with high-density and high power is also generated.This paper focuses on the establishment of perfect theoretical model of microwave frequency generation process.By the software of Optisystem7.0,the influence of the structure and system operating parameters of the device on microwave frequency comb is analyzed in detail and the structure and system operating parameters of the device based on the acousto-optic frequency shifting circuit is also optimizd and designed.According to above researches,a flat tunable stable optical frequency comb with high-density is obtained and a ultra-wide tunable microwave frequency comb with high-density and high power is also generated.This paper will pave a better way for further research and work in the future.
