The Imagination And Practice Of The Motherhood Identity Of “mom Fans??

In recent years,the "idol-fan" economy in the domestic entertainment industry has gradually matured,and the "fandom" has also developed into a subcultural community with a strong identity meaning.This study explores the psychology and behavior of "fan as mom" through in-depth interviews with 18 respondents and online ethnographic observations.The main part of the paper is mainly divided into four chapters,the first chapter starts from the definition of basic concepts,defines and clarifies the important concepts of idol stars,fan attributes,maternal care,maternal punishment and maternal empowerment,and discusses the internal distinction of the "fan as mom" group to ensure the academic rigor of this paper.The second chapter discusses how the identity imagination of "fan as mom" arises from the external economic,cultural perspective and internal psychological mechanism,and clarifies that when idols appear in the market as a consumer product and capital transfers part of the image shaping right and cultivation planning right to fans,"fan as mom" has a basis for implementing digital nurturing,and the desexualized aesthetic and cultivation logic of idols is the fundamental difference between "fan as mom" and other fans.The third chapter starts from the idea of unity of power and responsibility,and analyzes the motherhood practice driven by emotions and the practice of matriarchy under the logic of empowerment of "fan as mom",who usually have compassion and protection for idols and practice women’s community-based collective upbringing;At the same time,under the empowerment logic of creating idols,"fan as mom" position themselves as parents and have many requirements for idols.Chapter 4 goes a step further,discussing the impact of "fan as mom" status on women’s reality,which can reflect young women’s personal parenting concepts to a certain extent,and at the same time provide specific roles and environments for women to simulate parenting at low cost.This paper argues that "fan as mom" is a new type of motherhood full of cyberfeminism,full of pioneering practices for future women to separate birth and childbirth and break away from the discipline of traditional motherhood,and to a certain extent,it can also answer where part of the maternal sustenance falls in the case of postponing marriage and childbearing,and even women choosing not to marry and have no children.
