Research On Identity Imagination Of Opinion Leaders In Micro-blog

With expansion of cyberspace, enhancement of network influence and increase of netizens, the network opinion leaders especially micro-blog opinion leaders show a tendency of rapid growth. According to a variety of hot events, micro-blog opinion leaders always have strong impacts on the incidents’ number, intensity, point or effect. They have become a very important force. A correct and clear cognition of this group will help to lay a foundation for the following guiding.If we want to form a correct perception of opinion leaders, we must focus on their groups and individuals to see how they imagine identities and express on public. This thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, with the aid of the Tajfel’s social identity theory, general path of opinion leaders’ identities of imagination will be summarized. Then Chapter two shifts attention to the relationships of public opinions and fans. Compared to opinion guidance, Opinion leaders do better in strengthening advice. We can find that sometimes opinion leaders can play a positive role for social reform, but they also subvert the public’s expectations when facing external stimulation and specific profit motive. A good role model aren’t able to be kept, a non-rational side still exists. Finally, the third chapter focuses on a discussion about freedom and ethics of opinion leaders’ public expression. Both differentiations of social interest and differences in individual characteristics result in views’ diversity which will lay a foundation for the civil society. At the same time, people should pay attention to the construction of dialogue ethics, self-discipline is important for opinion leaders.
