The museum is an important hall to protect and inherit Chinese traditional culture.The museum is rich in historical relics and contains cultural information,which has storytelling advantages.However,the research on museum cultural communication rarely involves the narrative research of museums.How to give full play to the advantages of museum storytelling and make cultural information better spread is a subject worthy of study.This paper takes Nanjing Museum as the research object,and from the perspective of the museum’s media,discusses the narrative and communication methods of the museum as a medium.As a cultural institution and a medium,museums have unique advantages in spreading cultural information.First of all,it is authoritative.Museums mainly rely on physical cultural relics to spread,and the information contained in cultural relics is true,effective and convincing.Secondly,the narrative means of the museum are diverse,and the communication effect is maximized through various narrative methods.The background of this research is in the era of media integration,so the narrative framework of the museum is built by combining the characteristics of the media integration era and the characteristics of the museum itself.The first part is the story construction of the communication content of the museum.According to the positioning of the museum,the narrative theme is established,and the story content of the museum is mainly based on the narrative context,that is,the story line.After determining the narrative context,the story line is refined accordingly,and each plot is described.The second part is to construct the narrative media of the museum.Narrative content is presented by narrative media,and museum narrative media is formed through the joint construction of exhibit symbols,text symbols,sound symbols and multi-modal symbols.The third part is to construct the temporal and spatial sequence of the museum and present it to the audience.The museum edits the discourse time to form a reasonable narrative rhythm and create a narrative space.The architectural space,exhibition hall space and public leisure space of the museum together constitute the narrative environment of the museum.Through the construction of discourse space,the museum narrative creates a spatial atmosphere that fits the narrative theme,making space an important place for the museum to express itself and generate cultural significance.The fourth part is to analyze the audience in the museum.The audience’s visit in the museum is the process of accepting the narrative.During the visit and experience,the narrative content of the museum is decoded and decoded,feedback and sharing are generated,and the meaning is reconstructed,thus acting on the narrative subject of the museum again.Finally,through the narrative research of Nanjing Museum,this paper puts forward the shortcomings in the narrative and the corresponding optimization path,which provides a platform for equal dialogue of multiculturalism and promotes the public’s recognition of Chinese culture.The museum maximizes the effect of cultural communication through narration,makes the information content of the museum spread to the audience in a more vivid and impressive way,and builds the museum into a spiritual home that leads the social fashion. |
