The construction of campus culture in colleges and universities carries the cultural connotation and cultural spirit of the core competitiveness of colleges and universities.At present,the campus culture of colleges and universities is more traditional in terms of publicity,and the object of publicity is the passive acceptance of students.Under the new technology,campus culture can also be presented in new ways.Generation Z college students hope to gain emotional and social experience while actively exploring campus space to gain a personalized and interesting cultural experience.The design case of this paper is Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.Its campus culture has technological characteristics but weak humanistic atmosphere.Therefore,under the background of new technology,we can design interesting,innovative and humanistic campus cultural products for the students of Beijing Post and Telecommunications.At the same time,it can meet the needs of campus culture construction and students.This paper combines theoretical analysis,applied research,cultural research,user research,etc.,to explore the campus culture construction of BUPT and the needs of students,and carry out the following research work:(1)Research on interactive storytelling methods,gamification methods,campus culture,AR applications,metaverse architecture and its social mode,and analyze their guiding significance to the design of this paper;(2)Conduct user research,interviews and field investigations on the campus space and campus culture of BUPT,and extract a series of design entry points and campus cultural elements;(3)Based on the aforementioned work,propose design principles for interactive storyytelling content about campus cultural experience for BUPT students,and construct design strategy about BUPT campus Metaverse and design transformation strategies for the application of campus cultural elements in interactive storytelling games based on the SCACE high-level user experience five-dimensional framework,and construct MetaverseGo----an BUPT AR metaverse product model based on interactive storytelling and gamification;(4)Through the design practice and development of the " AR Metaverse APP about BUPT——《BuptGo》",the design principles,strategies and model were applied and verified,and the final APP was evaluated.As an innovative practice design of the gamification experience of campus culture,this paper proposes a campus metaverse APP with LBS+AR+social+AI+NFT,combining various BUPT cultural elements.So that college students can actively explore and experience campus culture in interactive storytelling games,and establish an emotional connection with space.The establishment of social and emotional connections with peers in the metaverse and game journeys has also enhanced the humanistic atmosphere of BUPT to a certain extent.
