Abstract/Summary:
As an important part of space information network,LEO satellite network plays a significant role in global communication.Routing protocol is the key to the construction of satellite network, which is significant to ensure the timeliness and reliability of satellite communication. The traditional satellite routing protocol cannot adapt to the complex space network environment with many security risks, and lacks the authentication of messages. At the same time,a variety of network attacks will cause satellite link failures and affect the stability of communication services. Therefore, the research on the security mechanism and fault handling mechanism of satellite routing protocol is important. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various satellite routing protocols by comparing the security and scalability of these protocols. The satellite routing protocol combined with constellation topology slice and link dynamic detection mechanism makes full use of the constellation motion law and awareness of link state, which has good applicability in LEO satellite network.Through analyzing the security risks of the routing protocol, this paper designs a security authentication mechanism to protect the process of routing updating. The mechanism uses message identification codes to ensure message integrity, and uses symmetric encryption algorithm to prevent information being leaked. In order to solve the communication interruption caused by link failure,a fast fault recovery mechanism based on local flooding strategy is proposed to generate an alternative forwarding paths and reduce the waste of bandwidth resources. This paper builds an LEO satellite network simulation platform based on virtualization, and simulates a variety of routing attack scenarios on the platform. This paper transplants the satellite routing security protocol to the simulation platform, verifies the protocol security under various routing attack scenarios and the routing convergence efficiency in case of satellite link failure, and compares the performance indicators such as CPU occupancy and packet processing time before and after adding the security mechanism. The experimental results show that the satellite routing security protocol designed in this paper can effectively prevent a variety of threats in the space network, reduce the communication delay caused by the link failure, and realize the stable communication of LEO satellite network at the cost of limited authentication time and communication overhead.
