| Coupled optoelectronic oscillators can generate high frequency microwave signals with low phase noise and have broad application prospects in communications,military,aerospace,navigation and metering industries.Aiming at the problem that the coupled optoelectronic oscillator system cannot be self-started under polarization disturbance,this thesis mainly develops two polarization insensitive self-starting coupled optoelectronic oscillator schemes.The corresponding work results are as follows:Firstly,the thesis constructs a polarization insensitive mode-locked fiber loop based on the electroabsorption modulation mechanism,realizes the self-start-up of the nonpolarization-maintaining coupled optoelectronic oscillator,and a 10 GHz microwave signal with phase noise of-126.3 dBc/Hz@10 kHz was generated,which lays an important research foundation for the realization of low phase noise self-starting coupled optoelectronic oscillator.Secondly,in order to realize the self-starting coupled optoelectronic oscillator with lower phase noise,the thesis realizes the polarizationinsensitive coupled optoelectronic oscillator based on the antipolarization disturbance technology of the Sigma cavity.Not only the self-starting function of the oscillation system is successfully realized,but also a 10 GHz microwave signal with a phase noise as low as-139 dBc/Hz@10 kHz is generated. |
