| With the development of wireless communication,the requirement of antenna performance for wireless communication and radar system is higher and higher.Microstrip antenna has the characteristics of light weight,small size simple manufacture,easy construction,wide band and so on.So microstrip antenna has been paid more attention and become a hot research topic.The form of microstrip cascaded array antenna series feed can effectively reduce the loss of the feed line and increase the antenna radiation efficiency because of the short feed line.Moreover,the antenna array elements are arranged compactly,the space utilization rate of the antenna is high,and the miniaturization design and realization of the antenna are facilitated.In this paper,the microstrip series-fed array antenna as the research object,introduced the research status of microstrip series-fed array antenna domestic and foreign,from the basic theory of microstrip antenna,studied the microstrip array antenna beam offset,dual polarization and frequency beam scanning。(1)A novel series-fed microstrip antenna is proposed.The bent microstrip line and the rectangular microstrip patch element are cascaded to realize the beam shift.A microstrip series-fed array antenna with 9 elements working at 28 GHz is designed,which is port-fed and center-fed respectively.The antenna achieves 30°beam offset and high radiation efficiency.The antenna has that advantage of low profile,light weight,low manufacturing cost,short feeder,low loss ets,and can be used for wireless communication.(2)Presents the design of a dual-polarized series-fed microstrip antenna array.And the antenna is composed of a dual-layer that consists of the dual-polarization element.The horizontal polarization feed network and the radiation antenna are printed on the top layer while the vertical polarization feed network is printed on the bottom layer which is connected with the antenna on the top layer through vias.Dual-port electromagnetic(EM)radiation can excite horizontal and vertical polarization,respectively.The antenna aperture efficiency is 80.63%and the operating bandwidth is 27 GHz-28.2 GHz for horizontal port excitation,while for the vertical port is 76.13%and 27 GHz-28.25 GHz.Meanwhile.The measurement result is the antenna aperture efficiency is 75.36%and the operating bandwidth is 27GHz-28.68 GHz for horizontal port excitation,while for the vertical port is 73.92%and 27 GHz-28.56 GHz.(3)In this paper,an X-band microstrip cascaded array antenna with frequency beam scanning is presented.The antenna is composed of a dispersive delay line and a microstrip radiating element in cascade.The phase of the dispersive delay line can change rapidly in a certain frequency band,and the dispersive delay line has good delay characteristics,and is cascaded with a microstrip patch to realize beam scanning in a certain frequency band.In this paper,the simulation results show that the beam scanning from-40~oto 20~ois realized at 9.2 GHz to 10.4 GHz. |
