With the explosive growth in mobile users,terminals,and increasing demand on the rate and quality of communications of social production and life,how to expand the capacity of communication system effectively,and reduce the multipath fading as well as improve the utilization efficiency of frequency becomes one of the research hot spots in the fifth generation of mobile communication technology.On one hand,exploiting the millimeter wave frequency spectrum resource is the development trend of future mobile communication.On the other hand,dual polarization,broadband antenna technology is one of the solutions to improve communication system capacity.In this paper,the millimeter wave band dual-polarization integrated antenna is studied,including the design of dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna unit and array,dual polarized Substrate Integrated Coaxial Line(SICL)direct fed cavity-backed unit and array,dual polarized SICL angle-fed cavity-backed unit and array,dual polarization SICL improved cavity-backed antenna.In the end,the attenuation characteristics of microstrip line and SICL are analyzed in the operating spectrum to verify the efficiency of antenna array properties.The main contents are as follows:1?Dual polarized microstrip patch antenna is designed.By introducing a parasitic patch,a stacked dual-polarization microstrip patch unit is designed.By designing two port feed networks,a dual-polarization 4×4 microstrip patch antenna array with good isolation is designed and implemented.The antenna array has a VSWR of less than 2 in the operating frequency range of 27GHz-29GHz.The measurements show that isolation is more than 33dB,gain is greater than 19dBi,and cross-polarization level is better than 20dB.The structure of the antenna array has good directivity and gain,and is easy to batch processing and production.2?Dual polarized SICL cavity-backed antenna is designed.The effects of back cavity size,radiation patch size,parasitic patch size and opening size on the performance of the unit antenna are analyzed respectively.On the basis of the above analysis,dual polarization SICL direct fed cavity-backed unit and array,dual polarization SICL angle fed cavity-backed unit and array,dual polarization SICL improved cavity-backed antenna are designed respectively.In the operating band 27GHz-29GHz,the 2×2 direct fed back cavity antenna array and 2×2 angle fed back cavity antenna array have a VS WR of less than 2,isolation of greater than 20NB,while keeping good directivity and gain.3?The attenuation characteristics of the microstrip line and SICL in the target frequency band are studied.Based on the multi-line calibration theory,the attenuation characteristics of the microstrip line and SICL are investigated.Three microstrip line and SICL with length difference of a quarter wavelength were fabricated and measured.Then the attenuation characteristics of the microstrip line and SICL in the frequency band of 20GHz-30GHz is calculated.At last,the losses of feed networks of antenna array proposed in chapter 2 and 3 are calculated and the loss analysis on the feed network can be obtained.The relevant conclusions are of great significance to the design of the antenna,especially to the antenna array.
