| In the era of new media,short video platforms represented by Douyin have developed rapidly.The progress of the times promotes the development of culture in the direction of diversification.Through the research of scholars of the past dynasties,the fields involved in the theory of parody as a unique creation and expression form have been continuously expanded.In modern film and television art,literary works,etc.,multiple concepts and connotations of parody may be involved.When the parody theory is applied to the short video field,it will not only enrich the content presentation of the short video platform,but also change the narrative style of the short video.While fully summarizing the previous research results on parody theory,this thesis relies on the relevant theories and knowledge of communication,literature and other disciplines,and conducts research based on content analysis and literature analysis.It mainly focuses on the expression and narrative characteristics of parody short videos,analyzes the different narrative styles of parody short videos,and refines the narrative meaning of Douyin parody short videos.In order to better analyze the characteristics and narrative style of parody short videos on the Douyin platform,this thesis studies the works of seven representative creators of the Douyin platform.Through three major aspects: narrative mode,narrative content,and narrative strategy.Focus on the narrative style characteristics of different types of parody short videos and their differences with other short videos,analyze the significance of such short videos to Douyin platform and short video narrative,and then elaborate on Douyin parody short videos.The narrative meaning of the video.From the emergence and prosperity of parody theory,combined with the development status of Douyin short video platform,this thesis summarizes the characteristics of short parody video in Douyin platform: the whole process of parody of the original text,the exaggeration of the plot,the deconstruction fragmentization.Quantitative research is carried out through the content analysis method,and the narrative characteristics of Douyin parody short videos are further analyzed.In the narrative mode,Douyin parody short videos are mainly narrated by the third person called the narrator,using an omniscient perspective to narrate.In the creation stage,mature parody short videos are good at integrating a variety of similar materials,making the content more substantial.In the early filming process,attention should be paid to the coordination of different scenes and the use of various montage editing techniques;the narrative language of Douyin parody short videos is more free and flexible,not bound by the original text,and often combined with popular terms.Limited by the influence of the creators themselves,the content presentation of Douyin parody short videos has an obvious tendency of personalization,and the characters and plots it creates are also closely related to the creator’s real environment.With the gradual industrialization of short videos,creators tend to specialize in the creation of parody short videos.Short videos of different types such as humorous and gender parody emerge in an endless stream.The inclusive Internet world also allows parody short videos to absorb various cultures for creation,which promotes the breaking of circle culture and enriches the value connotation of parody culture while entertaining users.The rapid development of the short video industry and the upgrading of media technology will make parody theory continue to progress and improve.Through continuous understanding and practice,we can correctly grasp the development direction of parody in the field of short videos and enrich the narrative styles of different short videos.Let parody create new art forms in the future media development to better meet the cultural needs of users. |
