A Study Of Underclass Narrative In "Non-fiction" On We Media

Currently,non-fiction writing is in the ascendant,and the rise of new media platform enables more and more writers to write the life of the bottom people as witnesses and experiencers.During this process,the creative practice presents a unique style and value in terms of narrative subject and narrative perspective,which raises the possibility of expression at the bottom in the new media environment.However,on the other hand,for a long time,the discussion of "whether the bottom can speak" and "how the bottom is narrated" put forward by Spivak in academic circles is rampant.In this case,the participation of new media in the bottom narrative also provides a new significance for the above discussion.Taking "Truman Story "(the current largest WeChat public platform advocating"writing for all")as the research object,this thesis relies on its text of understratum narration,applies the analytical framework of narratology,explores its characteristics presented in narrative subject,narrative object,narrative theme,narrative perspective,narrative time,and narrative structure,from two aspects("story" and "discourse").Moreover,on the basis of this,the meaning and value of the discourse expression at the bottom group in the new media field are evaluated.Meanwhile,whether the bottom ecology constructed with "true stories" can restore the current real bottom ecology are investigated,attempting to make a personalized response to the inquiries of "Whether the bottom can speak" and "How the bottom is narrated".It is found that in comparison with traditional non-fiction literature and news reports,the understratum narration of the self-media platform represented by "true stories" is more strongly influenced by the media and culture.First of all,the bottom narrative text of "true stories" presents a pluralistic tendency in the narrative subject,while the professional content production mode has not been abandoned;the narrative object and narrative theme take the "laggard" in the social transformation as the main expression object,present the historical reality of stratum differentiation,and fully demonstrate the individual struggle and problem consciousness;Secondly,the relevant text has the obvious characteristics from the self-media era.For instance,the narrative structure is clear and orderly;the title bears the core function of the introduction;it also has the consistent characteristics of the non-fiction narrative,such as the diversification of narrative perspective,the cycle of narrative time;Finally,this thesis affirms the contribution value of "true stories" for the understratum expression and public issues.Meanwhile,it also points out as follows:the self-media participates in the understratum narration,which obscures the true picture of the bottom to a certain extent and whitewashes the real situation of the bottom group under the two contradictions(individual expression and mainstream narration,and flow supremacy and media ethics).
