Constant false alarm detection(CFAR)is a key link in the radar signal processing process,and also provides a data source for the subsequent target positioning and tracking,which directly determines the performance of the radar system.With the rapid development of the new system radar technology,it is necessary to process more complex clutter data,which puts forward higher requirements for the detection performance and the stability of the false alarm probability of the constant false alarm detection algorithm.However,many existing constant false alarm detection algorithms only have better performance under specific conditions.Once they are out of the applicable conditions,their performance will deteriorate rapidly and seriously affect the overall performance of the radar system.In low altitude small target detection of passive radar,due to the complexity of background clutter and weak echo energy of low altitude small target,the problem of detection probability loss and false alarm probability deterioration will occur when using the existing constant false alarm detection algorithm.It is an urgent problem to solve how to effectively and accurately detect the target in the low altitude small target detection of passive radar while maintaining the stability of false alarm probability.Firstly,this paper introduces the clutter,target and detection theory in target detection,focuses on the characteristics of different clutter distribution models and background environment,and deduces the formula of detection theory.Secondly,the realization principle of the existing classical constant false alarm detection algorithm is described,and the simulation analysis is carried out under different background conditions.Then,the fitting degree analysis of clutter model before target detection is introduced,and the fitting degree analysis method of neural network clutter model(SENN)based on statistical characteristics is proposed,which can reduce the complexity and improve the accuracy of analysis in the case of short sequence samples.Finally,a constant false alarm detection algorithm(dom-cfar)based on dynamic ordered matrix is studied and analyzed.The process flow,implementation principle,parameter setting and algorithm complexity of DOM-CFAR are introduced in detail.The simulation results show that the DOM-CFAR can in different clutter models,the different background environment through iterative optimization calculation by adaptive detection threshold,and the classical constant false alarm detection algorithm,compared with higher detection and false a larm performance,and compared with the same type of clutter map algorithm,it has a better target energy interference resistance. |
