Design And Development Of Testing Application Software Of HINOC

HINOC(High Performance Network Over Coax)is a new type of EOC(Ethernet Over Coax)technology with complete independent intellectual property rights,which is under the background of "TrIPle Play".Utilizing the out-of-band cable resource,HINOC provides people with low cost and high performance broadband multi-service.With the deepening of research,it’s of great importance to develop the debugging and testing research.The design and development of testing application software of HINOC is deeply researched in this article.Firstly,based on the understanding of HINOC protocol and the theory of application software design of HINOC MAC,the design and implementation of HINOC configuration software is given under the need of equipment debugging.It is proved that this software can provide configuration and management of CPU、MAC and PHY.In addition,when devices are mass-produced,it’s of great importance to provide tools to do rapid test to devices.Given the demand of factory testing,the design,implementation and exception handling of the factory testing software is provided.This software is proved to completely fulfill the functional requirements according to test results.
