Detection Technology Of Infrared Dim Small Target Based On DSP

The detection technology of infrared dim small target is the core-technology in the system of infrared detcction and warn.The study on detecting dim small target have a great significance in enhancing the viability of the warning system as well as scramble for the mastery of the sky in the future wars.In this thesis,a kind of detecting and warning system of infrared target based on DSP is designed and realized.The digital processor TMS320C6416T is a kernel device in this system,combined with FPGA.This system realizes the detection of infrared dim small target.Firstly,the research background and the development status of the topic are given.The paper researches on infrared dim small target detection algorithm based on the higher-order statisticsand the fuzzy reasoning,and proposes a kind of rapid infared dim small target detection algorithm based on difference image.It designs structure diagram of system,power supply system,clock input and interface circuit between DSP and extended memory.It researches and implements the procedure of the rapid detection algorithm proposed above.Finally,the laboratory test and the actual test on hardware system are given of the algorithm and design used in the paper.And Test results show that the hardware system completes the detection of infrared dim target and the output of alarm information.
